One is the Loneliest Number That You'll Ever Do...
As much as I hate to admit it out loud, yes, you will have to learn to distance yourself from certain people to advance in life...to preserve your emotional and spiritual health... to grab hold of God's best for your life. I hate to admit because that is the only message most people will get out of this post no matter what I type next...Most people are naturally drawn to the negative so talking about distancing yourself from people, cutting them out of your life and their general lack of worthiness to be in your space is comfortable for you. It fits. It's easy. Here's the problem with stopping there, however. You can't build a great life in isolation. Heck, you can't even be truly happy. Isolating yourself from destructive influences only solves half of your problems. You still have another challenge to address.
You have to find people whom to attract into your life, too! You can't build a great life on subtractions. You've got to have additions. This is where much "advice" steers you wrong and causes you continued pain. They teach you to become increasingly skeptical and insulated and, therefore, lead you to less fulfillment.
"Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
Though one may be overpowered,
two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." ~Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Here's my challenge: Who can you add to your life this year? What is missing? Companionship? Wise counsel? An exercise buddy? Iron sharpens iron. Look at what you lack and look for somebody who can help you in that area. There is another key, too... look for what you can add to their lives! If you want friends, show yourself friendly. One is a lonely number!
The point to this post? You weren't meant to live alone on the mountain. Resist the urge. Your flesh will tend towards that direction at times, but fight it. That is not the way towards the life God desires for you!

Stop Trying to Fix Your Spouse (Or Other People)!
Don Purdum and I are getting great feedback on our hangouts! Here's another link for you if you need it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NI8h3AhJwOY or just click the link below to check out. This time we're talking about this urge to want to fix our spouses, partners and others around us instead of working on ourselves. As my mothers says "looking out the window instead of looking in the mirror."
I mention one of my favorite quotes in this short talk... "In necessariis unitas, in dubiis libertas, in omnibus caritas" (commonly translated as "unity in necessary things; liberty in doubtful things; charity in all things" or more literally as "in necessary things unity; in uncertain things freedom; in everything compassion") and it is one of my most treasured Latin phrases. I try to live my life by it in many ways. It is often misattributed to St. Augustine of Hippo, but seems to have been first used in the 17th century by the Archbishop Marco Antonio de Dominis.
The bottom line is we have to learn how to focus the core values we need to share and agree upon... allow that reasonable people can have different views on many other issues... but be gracious in all of it. Now, I hope Don and I have an opportunity to talk about these core values the next time we get together. I hope you can decide what these are for you and your relationships and be gracious enough to let other issues work themselves out. I think this is a mistake singles make while dating, too, thinking that you have to see eye-to-eye on everything or you don't have a match.
So what the video and tell us what you think. Then let me know what else can we talk about for you!

Sleepy
Yaaaaawn~ (for today, this also means hello)
Hey there. It's 11 pm now, and I'm not slept yet. Remembering that tomorrow is Monday and I have to go to school, I'll go to bed soon. I took myself to post this 'cause I will be in a-while-hiatus again until next week 'cause my dad doesn't let me use the internet except weekends (or longer than next week if my dad is in a bad mood LOL).
Feels like miracle that I can post things like this, you know, my blabbers about my life. I usually posted litterateurs I made by myself. Yeah, I write things like that when I get bored, and can be so serious in writing sometimes. I also draw pictures when I get bored. And I have too many masterpieces (okay, just call it masterpieces!) to keep so I thrown away some of them. I really want to share them in my blog (that's other way to boost my posts amount up), but I'm too lazy to take a picture of it or scan it...
Tomorrow's first lesson is Bahasa, and there will be groups' presentation about our last discussion. I exactly know that it will be really boring. My group haven't done a discussion result to be presented but we got the last turn and it means we'll have our presentation next Saturday so I have nothing to worry :p thanks God we got the last turn! :3
I browsed Google to see cute dresses and headbands, and I was soooooooooo impressed! Those things are miracles! I watched them with I-must-have-that-things stare. Fashion blogs really changed me into a girly girl. Maybe I will start appropriate some of money to buy new cute headbands...
I also visit Veren Lee's blog again. Even if there's no new posts, I explored her blog and take a look at her old posts. I love her style. Her chubby cheeks killed me, she's so cute! I wondered how crowded her wardrobe is with those adorable clothes inside. And in my vision, she's very addicted with wedges. I don't have any wedges. My mum said that it's too mature for me so she never bought one for me. But I have one, which my cousin gave it to me a long time ago. It's white and ruffled. Wish I could show it to y'all someday :3
Yawn~ I think it's time to go to bed. Are you going to bed, too? If you do, nice dreams folks! Buh-bye, see ya next time :*

Sneezy
Hello, hi. I mean, Happy Sunday folks!
In the beginning of February like this, I'm having influenza and sneezing everywhere. I have cough, too, but I ate a pack of Pocky today. I know I shouldn't, but suddenly I really want a pack of Pocky, so I bought one and share it with my sister. I'm a really good sibling, right??
Not only me, my mum is having influenza, too. We're suffering with this unstoppable-sneezing and need somebody to help us ;__________;
What do you think of when you know it's February already?
What storming my mind about February is Valentine Day and Chinese New Year.
Valentine Day, you know, a day to share love with chocolates. I usually bought chocolates to trade it with my friends to celebrate Valentine Day, but I really want to make it myself this year. I've never made any chocolates by myself, but practices makes perfect, right? If my chocolates fail, I still have choice to make cookies or something like that. I found some chocolate dishes recipes, and can't wait to try it myself. Dunno if my mum will let me or not, but there's still plan B if she won't let me: persuasion session! :3
Chinese New Year!! Like everybody knows, for us who aren't married yet, Chinese New Year also means ang-paos-collecting-time *money eyes* and also means a moment for new clothes and shoes... Yay! Sounds spendthrift, I know, but it's fine for once-a-year-event like this!
I read fashion blogs like Veren Lee's and Diana Rikasari's lately and I always impressed with what they wore. Those cute beanies, varsity jackets, camo patterns, lace dresses, girly headbands, and adorable wedges fascinated me. I wasn't really interested with fashion before, but since fashion blogs became my daily reads, I started to like girly clothes and started to collect nice clothes as my own. My mum also made some for me (yeah, she MADE it for me, she's a good tailor enough as an employee). I explored my wardrobe for fine clothes and collected my old headbands (which I don't like to wear it before) and kept it in better place.
I really want to make some fashion posts like fashion bloggers do, but I don't think I will. I tried to mix-and-matching some clothes by myself, and really want to share it in my blog! But there's nobody in home could take photos of me as well as I want, and my home have no fine spots to take full-body portraits. And I'm not photogenic! ;__________;
Yeah, maybe not now, but I'll post fashion posts in my blog... Someday soon! ;)
I've done my civic lesson presentation to be presented by my group tommorow. Hope my group luck!

Sabtu, 02 Februari 2013
Hello, February
Ditulis tanggal 1 Februari 2013,
untuk kamu.
‘Nangis lagi’... Mungkin begitu pikirmu. Yah, mudah terbaca dari caramu memandangku. Maaf saja kalau aku sering menangis belakangan ini. Hanya saja...
Aku merindukanmu!
Apa kabarmu, Sayang?
Sudah kauruntuhkankah hati ibumu yang sekeras karang,
yang membuat kita jadi seperti sekarang?
Bertahun-tahun kautinggalkan,
aku terus menyimpan angan;
menyentuh dirimu hanya dalam bayangan.
Aku menunggumu kembali,
meski dalam kurun waktu yang tak pasti.
Aku memercayaimu.
Karenanya aku menunggu.
Namun nyatanya, apa jawaban darimu?
Kautemukan gadis lain untuk menemani harimu,
tanpa tahu tahun-tahun terakhir kulewati sambil mengharapkanmu,
tanpa tahu hatiku masih saja bertalu-talu kala memikirkanmu.
sehingga begitu mudahnya kaucampakkan aku?
Beritahu aku
apa arti diriku bagimu?
Luka ini kamu yang menorehkan
hanya kamu yang bisa menyembuhkan
namun akankah kaulakukan?
Bahagiamu masih lekat dalam doaku
meski kamu tak lagi dalam rengkuhanku
meski kini bukan aku yang tinggal di sisimu.
