Study Tour: Mekarsari!

This post contains photos I took using my phone camera during my study tour last Wednesday. We went to Taman Buah Mekarsari, Cileungsi, Bogor. But as 9th grader, we didn't do anything with the 'taman buah' (read: fruit garden). The fruit garden is for for 8th grader, while 9th grader went to the laboratory, listened to the in vitro culture about. In vitro studies in experimental biology are those that are conducted using components of an organism that have been isolated from their usual biological surroundings in order to permit a more detailed or more convenient analysis than can be done with whole organisms. Colloquially, these experiments are commonly called "test tube experiments". Did you understand those sentences? I don't, if you do, you're great! :p

Crowds are hardest obstacle here...
Firstly, 9C (my class!) class went to the in vitro laboratory while the rest (9D class) went to the media room. 9A and 9B is go to the different way, so I don't know where exactly they're going and what they're gonna do.

Those are pictures of the plants that made with in vitro culture. They'll remain there until they're big enough and be planted outside. Some of them are banana trees, you know! I was really shock when the 'professor' (well, call him professor 'cause I don't know what should I call him) said it. I didn't think that banana trees are grown from that such very little sprout.

The man with white coat is Mr Ahmad, the man I mentioned as the 'professor'. He told us how to do the in vitro culture practice and explain everything about it to us. The funny part is; he was so cool with the white coat and being very 'professor' look-alike, until I noticed that he's wearing thongs! :p

Next stop, the media room!

The other man with white coat, I don't know what's his name, but he's sure great in chemical about. He told us about how to make the chemicals liquid for the bottom of in-vitro-cultured plants' bottle.

See? There's a liquid on the bottom of the bottle. That liquid made from jelly powder and some chemicals liquid.

More crowds. It's very hard to go through them, so...

Here's people who surrendered to go through the crowds and started conversations each other.

The last step of in vitro culture is acclimatization.

Acclimatization is the process in which an individual organism adjusting to a gradual change in its environment (such as a change in temperature, humidity, photoperiod, or pH), allowing it to maintain performance across a range of environmental conditions.

After all of these in-vitro-culture about, we went to a place where we invited to make artworks using leaves and seeds based on a picture. Too bad I didn't take any picture while in that place, I'm too busy in accomplish my artwork (I didn't finish it at last, actually :p).

Next, we went to a very wide grassy field for lunch by a mini train.

The woman at the last row, see? It's Mrs Niken, my Bahasa teacher.
Here's a closer view.

We had fried chicken for our lunch. I didn't took any photos at the grassy field, I was stuck with my lunch. I was so hungry, no one can stop me when I'm hungry, even my mum! :p

The best part is when I went to the large bridge with Refi. The bridge is very exciting, it feels like we're on a ship while standing on the edge of it. Moreover, the wind was blowing, so it's very very fun at that bridge!

Then we had a short photo session together at a nice spot we found at the end of the bridge.

Galau.

I'm so dark here :|

She's nicer when she smile like this.

LOL I tried to make an elegant style, but look at my idiotic face! -___-

It was so fun to have another study tour with my friends, moreover, this is the last study tour I had with my junior high school friends :( I really want to stay in JHS, I don't wanna grow up too fast! Uh childish meee -_- okayyy life must go on! I must be maturer!! :D

Before going back to school, my boyfriend bought me a bunny ears headband there (actually, I ask for it :p). I looooooveee it so much, such a cute headband! I have it at a really right time that Easter is only a few days to go. Yeah, I mean, I could be an Easter bunny with that headband! :p

PS: I really want to share photos of me and my boyfriend, but he doesn't allow me and I just dunno why :(
